Headline of Article: Is Donald Trump Nice Enough

Issue Date: August 28, 2015

Section: U.S.                                     Page:_________________________

Three Reasons why I chose this article (interest in subject, heard about it from a friend, etc.):

1) There is a possibility of Donald Trump becoming our president so I would like to know more about him.

2) I wanted to you why people were questioning Donald Trump's ability to be nice.

3) I wanted to know if Donald Trump was a honorable person to follow throughout the presidential race since he is a man of many stories and I have heard bad things about him.

Write a brief summary of the article:
This article talked about how Donald Trump tests the phrase, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." and how he backs himself up with the reasoning that the country needs to be tough, which gives him the excuse for being tough as well.

Write TWO reactions you had about the article:

1) I am not surprised by the way Donald Trump approaches others within his speeches. Donald Trump used to have clips of him firing people and he viewed it as a comedy, non of this is a shock.

 2) I was also surprised that people don't act worse toward Donald Trump and that he hasn't been removed from the race because some may view him as a joke.

Write a direct quote from the article that you found intriguing/interesting:
"Nearly every line got rousing applause and some got ovations from the crowd."

List one connection I can make between this article and something else I know about (whether from personal experience, school, a book I have read, a movie I have seen, or anything else):
A connection I can make is how Donald Trump is a comical leader at some sort and how my soccer captain used to be funny and sarcastic so it reminds of this story
